Each and every iron door by Absolute Iron Doors is handmade and prepared in 12 guage thick tube steel. Which is approximately 7/64" or 3mm thick. Giving all of our wrought iron doors the structural rigidity, weight, and ruggedness, exactly as you would expect for a front iron door.
Handcrafted 5/8" wrought iron scrollwork.
For each of our traditional style (Mediterranean, European, etc) wrought iron doors, they feature beautiful and notorious scrollwork giving the iron door's the character deserved in that style. These pieces are hand forged by experienced blacksmiths.
Rust Proof: Zinc-Coated and Primed with Red-Oxide Primer
All iron doors created by Absolute Iron Doors are zinc coated and primed with red-oxide primer prior to final finishing coats. This rust and corrosion proofs our iron entry doors, forbidding the chemical reactions leading to rust over time. Phoenix, Arizona is a dry climate area nonetheless, but rest assured our wrought iron doors will last a rust-proof lifetime.
Frames + Doors injected with Polyurethane foam for all weather insulation.
Our Iron Doors are injected with sprayed polyurethane insulation foam into the iron door slabs and frames. Polyurethane insulation also protects against moisture, which provides the benefit of reducing the chance of harmful mold and mildew. Spray foam insulation typically insulate as much as 50% better than traditional insulation products, which is the best option for an iron door.
Matching full brass deadbolt, handle, and iron door rollers.
